Tiredness hrt

Hello. I have grade 2 invasive HR+ . I feel constantly tired and I am wondering if this is normal or has it been made worse due to me stopping my hrt ( as my consultant said it was helping to feed the tumour) . Thank you

Hello, they do stop HRT upon diagnosis because of the oestrogen helping the cancer cells to grow. Without the oestrogen many people will feel fatigue, all my menopause symptoms came back, including fatigue and very bad hot flushes. Then they put me on Letrozole which intensifies the symptoms and adds a few more!! It’s pretty miserable at times and I am not convinced that the drugs are that beneficial but I am sure that, for me, the bulk of the symptoms would be there anyway due to the absence of HRT. xx

This can be caused by different things, such as the stress and worry of having cancer or the side effects of different treatments.
