Tnbc low ER positive

I was wondering if anyone who had similar diagnosis has treatment experience they can share. I’ve been diagnosed with ER 4 PR 0 HER 0 breast cancer last year and had treatment for tnbc - the usual chemo protocol with pembrolizumab followed by surgery. Since then I was prescribed tamoxifen for 5 years due to cancer marker ER 4. In my next appointment with oncology they will discuss if I should be given ovarian function suppression drugs (zoladex etc). I understand that oncologist thinks it should not be added as they do not have a clear data to tell if this is beneficial for ER low breast cancer. And obviously want to avoid more side effects. Has anyone with ER low had both tamoxifen and zoladex or possibly different endocrine therapy after treatment for tnbc?

Hello, funny you should post this as i was going to bring up this with my oncologist, as i have TNBC, but with low estrogen (4) and also low HER2 (2, but negative on the fish test).

Sorry- have no answers for you, but good to hear someone else in similar position. Am so far just doing the usual chemo/immuno but wanted to ask my oncologist if other targeted treatments would be beneficial at all. My appointment is next week so ill let you know if i get a straight answer!

Thanks for sharing, good to know there are others having the same questions. Wish my doctor just said - this is what you need to have next, so I just go ahead with it! Hope your treatment is not too harsh on you.
