Thanks, BCC folks! I like the infographic and I’ve signed the petition.
Just a comment about “hidden effects”. It might be just me (chemo brain), but it’s only today that I’ve realised it is specifically about “secondary” bc… (or is it??) Last year’s “body image” topic was about both primary and secondary bc.
PS… don’t forget the BCC special live chat tonight, those who are eligible and able to join in.

We arranged for audio clips from two of our case studies, Eleanor and Rowena, speaking about the impact of pain from secondary breast cancer on their quality of life and the importance of referrals to a palliative care team, to be featured along with the announcement of Breast Cancer Care’s new findings. This has been shared by Sky News Radio.
The Sun: Plea over Big C hell is the headline in the Sun - Thousands of cancer patients are suffering with pain unnecessarily, a survey by Breast Cancer Care has found. Includes a quote from our Clinical Director Dr Emma Pennery.
Just a reminder that there is a special Secondary Live Chat tonight where anyone with secondaries can come and share their thoughts and feelings about living with a diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer. We will be encouraging people to discuss how they manage their pain and to share their experiences of pain management; what was helpful and what wasnt. This is a supportive session and I look forward to seeing you there. It is on 7.30 - 8.30 via the usual Live Chat link breastcancercare.org.uk/community/chat . If you are already a live chat registered user, no need to do anyting else, just join us as usual, if you are not a regular live chat user, please do register via the same link. It is helpful if you use the same user name as the one you use on the forum, that way cyber friends can recognise each other.
