Today has finally arrived and I am terrified I have my appt at the breast clinic a little later on this afternoon, and I know I’m going to have an ultrasound because at 32 my GP said a mammo might not show up much?
I went through all the dreaded waiting with my mum, who’s lump ended up being BC 2 years ago so I think I know the routine but does anyone know if they are likely to give me a clue what itmight be today? Following the ultrasound and possible biopsy I’m booked in 1/2 hr later to talk to an oncologist ( my mums one so I feel more at ease that the face will be familiar) is this usual? What could that appt be for?
Sorry for all the questions I’m just feeling a bit desperate and silly today as I’m on my own with too much time to think!
