Told had Sarcoidosis but now they think its breast cancer

Hi All i have been experiencing pain in my right arm and armpit for a few weeks. It got really bad so went to docs. They sent me for shoulder xrays thinking i had an injury. the next day a lump popped in my neck and collarbone area swelled right up. So was sent for tests at hospital. I had a chest xray blood tests and ecg and breast exam. They then sent me home. My doc then rings and says they think i have sarcoidosis. I had a ct scan yesterday and was supposed to see thoracic registrar today. My gp rang last night and came out to see me. All that is on hold now as the registrar i was supposed to see spotted something and spoke with radiographer and breast doctor who now think it may be breast cancer. I have an emergency mammogram booked for today and an appointment with the specialist next wednesday. So i was down and am still in pain with one thing and get an even bigger blow!

Floissie,

Good luck for your mammo today, i’m glad youve found this site for support and encouragement, you will get as much or as little as you need, keep us posted of how it goes for you.
I also had a lump appear in my neck and a thickening around the top of my shoulder/ collarbone area, but that was about 4 months before i found the breast lump, Ive always been told the 2 events were not related, but there’s always been that doubt in my mind.
