Told last week and back today for next stage

Hi - I’ve just signed up today. I didn’t find my lump just knew something wasn’t right. Doctor agreed and last Wednesday I had my appt at our local Breast Care Centre which confirmed there was a lump and after many hours of waiting I was told that it was Cancer! I’m 42 with 2 children a hubby and a 13 week old puppy Great timing but it appears C doesn’t worry about that!! Today I go back to find out all the details and the plan. I’m feeling stronger and ready for today but sort of in denial I think. I’m not sure how I’ll feel later very different I would imagine and it will feel real. I will have to find a way to tell my dad (my mum died of Breast Cancer 28 years ago) and of course my gorgeous children. How did you tell them? I can’t imagine that right now. xx

Hi Clare
Sorry I never saw this post of yours, wish I had. Hope your children took it ok? Telling my girls (aged 9 and 13) the WORST day so far! Hate that this ‘thing’ come into our lives. Please PM me, I’d love to hear how your getting on. Love Bonnie X

Hi Bonnie. How are you doing? I’ve never PM’d on here before and didn’t know you could. Week has been up and down after first treatment haven’t felt so good yesterday and today little breathless and mouth feels yukky but still managing to eat tho. How are you in your treatment?? Lovely to hear from you. Jane xxxxx
