Totally losing it

UPDATE for my lovely, caring “young warriors”.

Nothing sinister found on mammo …Consultant checked me over again. He is almost sure it is a Pappiloma, but because, I still have the occasional bleed, he said he will remove it and as us usual, will send a sample for biopsy. He hasn’t given me a date for the op. It will be under general anaesthetic but as a day case. But he reassured me that it was a benign papilloma. (I would have posted the news earlier, but my shopaholic daughterinlaw decided to spend almost the whole day looking around the shops ha)

Thankyou all so so much for your kindness and concern during the past weeks. I will still be popping in to say hello to you all and see how you are doing. You will never know how much you all meant to me during these past few weeks.

I wanted to to start a new thread, but I don’t know how to do it. I would like to expand a bit further on my symptoms etc and perhaps others who are worried can be reassured, although everyone is not the same.

Lots of love and thanks for listening xxxx

Best get it over with rather than hanging over you .

Good luck ,Rosie ,talk to us .Always someone around .

Hi Rosie & Jencat,

Will be thinking of you both tomorrow, sending love and best wishes for your recovery, let us know how you get on when you are able to.

Donna x

Good to hear all went well Rosie, take it easy over the next few days and accept all offers of help. Don’t forget to do your exercises  x

Hope you’re ok JenCat.x

Glad to hear your freezer is full of food Rosie, and what a lovely gift from your friend!

Follow the advice of your team regarding exercising, they’re the experts.

Sleep well.x

There is such a lot of anxious waiting in this game ,if only they could just do the op and get results on the day !!!

Hi Rosie,

Yes as Jill says, the waiting is the hardest. Be kind to yourself in the meantime, it’s early days.x

Hi JenCat,

Good to hear from you, sending you both positive thoughts and good wishes.x

Anyone heard from Debbie yet? X

Hi Rosie, sorry you are having a bad day, there is no doubt the emotional healing (which is much harder to see) is the most difficult part .Try as they might friends just can’t understand that part unless they’ve been there themselves .The time between op and results is a very difficult time .I got very emotional sometimes ,just crying in random places for not apparent reason - definitely an emotional roller coaster. You will feel a lot better once you know what happens next and can get in with it.Jill.

Dressing change tomorrow jencat hubby has said he will do it for me but the hospital have said if he is unsure the nurse at docs will do it x still unsure about wedding as it is quite a distance away but have another wedding on 18th which is local so will be going that one xxx Rosie sending a big hug to you it is an emotional rollercoaster we all have our ups and downs c big hug to you xx

Rosie yes you made it through today and you will tomorrow too and the day after that etc x it is horrible waiting (I got to wait until 23rd) but keep talking to us and we all pull each other through xxx

Just wanted to add my support to you all too. What a wonderful network of strong women! We’ll do this! Xxxxxx
