Transformers

I finished my 4 weeks of rads on Friday - yay! Not too sore but very tired at times.

Thought we’d go en family to see Transformers film this morning. However when I got to the bit where they were at Chernobyl and said ‘watch your radiation levels,’ tears streamed down my face for a minute!!!

Luckly the film is very action packed and distracting. Nice to (mind) escape for a few hours. Looking forward to Bridesmaids on Wednesday!

aww, bless ya. The whole damn thing never really leaves us does it. Butat least u’ve finished the rads…whoop whoop  I must go & see Transformers, meant to be very good. Enjoy Bridesmaids! xx

Thank you hjv123  I feel like a transformer at times - getting knocked down and broken, then pulling myself together again, transforming into a slightly different person!

Early days - still shocked and exhausted by it all (rads tiredness not helping too), but can’t wait to get my old self back with more energy!

Summer holidays have started, lazy mornings and ice-cream! yippee!!! x

I think Harry Potter is one of the very few films and books that doesn’t have at least one character with cancer as a quick and dirty way to kill 'em off!

Mind you, having some bloke with no nose shouting curses at you seems to work pretty well at killing people off so I suppose they don’t need to resort to using cancer as a pruner for their character list…
