After my mastectomy for DCIS I found much to talk about with my transgender friends about our bodies not fitting our own or society’s expectations, and how our changing bodies make us feel about our feminitity, gender etc. So I decided to organise a get together for cis women who have had breast surgery for health reasons and trans/non-binary folks (whether or not surgery is part of your journey).
