Trastuzumab

There is a thread for HER2+ and need some buddies, it provides ongoing support for the longer treatment with the diagnosis.

I had Herceptin alone and was under the weather for 4/5 days each time. Upset stomach, fatigue, aches and pains. I was also on Letrozole so it could be that as well. When Herceptin finished the side effects were general all the time but to a lesser extent. Everyone is different, with age, other health conditions etc. on the above thread, many work through chemo, or Herceptin alone but for me it wasn’t a possibility due to my work in school or the side effects I experienced.

During chemo I needed help as I was very fatigued and needed lots of rest and sleep. My children are grown up and live further away but we had a very lovely young dog that needed walks. I was only able to walk slowly on flat ground, quite hilly here, for 10/ 15 minutes once or twice a day. Some days after chemo I didn’t walk at all. My husband did the meals and housework.
