Hi
I hope someone might be able to help. Ive looked at previous posts about travel insurance companies who will cover secondary breast cancer but dont seem to be having any luck with finding cover from the insurers mentioned (except for one quote from insurecancer.com for £900!). Im getting married in three weeks and unfortunately booked our honeymoon to St Lucia over a year ago, a good long while before mets were diagnosed in my liver and bones. At the moment i feel well (other than being frustrated at being bald from chemo on my wedding day!) and have no side effects or pain. I completed six rounds of taxotere in early January and my MRI results showned good shrinkage to the five lesions on my liver. Im now on zoladex with arimidex as im 31 and pre-menopausal. Because i was in hospital with neutropenia over the new year this seems to be a disqualifying factor coupled with the fact that i was diagnosed with secondaries less than a year ago. Any helpful siggestions much appreciated!
