Travel Insurance

Hi everyone

I also arranged worldwide travel insurance last year with AIS after having WLE and radiotherapy but when I tried to renew today (after they sent me a reminder) and despite the fact I have been given the all clear for my BC, they declined my renewal.
I called the lady I spoke to last year in their Grimsby office and she was very apologetic saying they had changed underwriters and they are losing business and all the goodwill built up with cancer sufferers. Makes no sense to me or them!!
Will try the other companies you have all so kindly listed on here. What a palaver!!

Just got insurance from Mia for a week in France which starts a week after my chemo finishes and it has only cost £39. The only thing I need to make sure it that my onc marks on my medical record that she thinks I am fit to travel.

Your right Holly - I’ve just come back from 2 weeks in South of France and my onc always puts a note in my file that she’s happy for me to travel.
