travel insurance

Hi im new to the site!
Im going to Flordia soon and need advise with travel insurance
It seems i can either pay hundreds for a basic cover that will cover breast cancer and asthma or pay under £50 for one that does cover either illness.
Im confused i was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 i have had a mastectomy and on no further treatment so i dont really understand why breast cancer needs to be covered? Chemo has affected my memory and brain so i might just be being thick!!
can anyone recomend a travel insurance

Hi Boofie,

I recently got annual worldwide travel insurance from my bank which cost £84 - this covers my breast cancer (WLE, chemo & rads completed) on tamoxifen for 5 years. One of their questions was how long ago was surgery, I think it will go down after two years.

Try looking at this thread - it may help
