With systemic treatment which includes 21 day cycle, my friend is coming towards end of cycle 1 cycle 2 hormone injections she said will bring on menopause she has steroids etc but so I’m not annoying her with questions what will the next 15 weeks look like or a over view pls. On the breast cancer page elsewhere it doesn’t go into detail but she has incurtbreast cancer spread to adrenal and spine.

This sounds a difficult time as you explain your friend has secondary (metastatic) breast cancer.
You’ll see from our information the aim of treatment is to control and slow down the spread of the cancer, relieve symptoms, maintain health and wellbeing and give her the best quality of life for as long as possible. As everyone’s individual situation can differ and everyone responds differently to treatment, it’s difficult to say what the next few months will look like for your friend.
If treatment stops working, then your friend’s treatment team will discuss what the best options are for her going forward
