Hi sorbet thanks for advice re wig would rather have it sitting there ready and be prepared then not a panic to get one ! The wedding was great a lovely couple took my mind of all the crazy thoughts running through it for a while which was lovely to have the rest from crazy cancer thoughts ! Feels like it has taken over my life a little this weekend only had treatment plan Friday and treatment starting 11 November so all crazy ! X

Ade - Poor you hunnie. Hope you’ve managed to get some rest & that you’ll soon be on the ‘perking up a bit’ step.
Just a quick post on here frim me at the mo. Homemade cottage pie cooking away in the oven & veggies bubbling. I have a large glass of prosecco poured in readiness for dinner. Just waiting for OH’s Dad to arrive then it’s dinnertime for us.
Must admit I’ve worked up an appetite today…had a nice lengthy walk with OH & the pooches ?? in the sunshine ? then have done some chores as well as prep’d dinner!!! Making hay whilst the sun shines…as they say. Full throttle to Thursday’s visit to the vamps ready for ‘cocktail’ time next Friday!
Will catch up later sweeties. Til then take it easy lemon squeezy!!

Bevster and Kate and anybody else visiting the vampire this week. Hope your results are good. I have blood test tomorrow, oncology Wednesday and 1st Tax on Thursday - keep telling myself thAt I’m not as nervous as for 1st FEC!
Cleaning for me this morning (after 5 years of my OH doing everything while I worked very long hours this is a huge change in lifestyle which on chemo good days I am actually enjoying).
Then afternoon nap to make sure I have enough energy for dance classes this evening.
Thought it was very quiet on here this morning as I’m suddenly not getting email notifications. Is anybody else having this problem?

Morning from blooming hospital AGAIN girls ! Had a very very high temp 38.5! So rushed in again early hours ? even with all the injections etc it’s just not working for me …,counts are below 1 again ! … I knew I felt rubbish just put it down to the tax as everyone says how bad it is …, I can’t keep doing this … Just not working for me ? … No step today hit the floor … Sorry girls just can’t beleive this is happening again so soon … And no bed so stuck in little room on admissions to add to the misery … Reallyfedup.com!

I had a wobble yesterday felt very light headed and my body felt like it was on a go slow but my insides were racing! Passed in 5/10 mins
I am so looking forward to the end of this chemo my last one is Nov 26th it’s hard to remember what normal life feels like some days xx

Eileen - thanks for your kind comments. As you say, trying to make the most of the next few days and keep busy. Lunch out planned for wednesday, day before Tax. Good to know that your SEs weren’t as bad as you feared. I think fear of the unknown is the worst thing about all this.
We ARE a strong group of ladies and we WILL get through this!

I read ages ago about someone (sorry maybe was Bali) saying she had had enough and didn’t want to do this any more. I ********* her!!!. Today, I thought if this crap ever comes back I’m not doing it again???
My husband said ‘hey you’re half way through now’ ;I told him I would wrap a frying pan round his head if he ever said that again as it meant I still had to do this 3 more times.

Bali - hope you are recovering well. Hospital visit must seem like such a set back but they can sort you out so that you’re treatment won’t be delayed.

Busy day Bloods for me and a trip into town this morning (hope Wendy wig behaves herself in this wind) :). Friend visiting this afternoon but I hope to fit a little nap in sometime so that I can stay awake at a school governors meeting this evening. How will I ever find the time to go back to work?

I had a good day yesterday. A couple of work colleagues visited and brought me lovely flowers and lots of nice messages from the team. It seems such a long time since I was there - and seems a long time before I go back! I’m not sure how I’m going to manage it.

Does anyone know if a lower temperature means anything? I took my this morning and I’m normally around 36.5 but this morning it was 35.7 even though I don’t feel particularly cold.

Andrea - I’ve occasionally had temperature below 36° Be careful & keep taking your temp throughout today & monitor. When mine was low I felt fine so didn’t bother contacting the chemo unit. Just be mindful though & if in any doubt, ring!!! Fingers crossed you’re OK hunnie.
Bali - Thinking of you sweetie & sending hugz ? Hope you’re improving. Give us an update please when you can.

Andrea, my temp on TAx and Herceptin has been between 35.4 and 36 9. I get the shivers and then the sweat is pouring off me. I’m only really worried if it goes above 37.5 but it hasn’t even got to the 37’s since starting chemo.

Thanks for the advice re temperature. It’s gone back up to 36 now and just did some ironing to get me moving! It seems to be a fine line between being paranoid and just being careful.
Kate - that sounds really complex. I just googled the BRC1 thing. I’d never heard of it before. You must have so many thoughts going round in your head.
When can you get the results of the tests? Have they said? If you need to waffle carry on doing it here. We’re here for you.
