Hi, my mum is 63 has stage 2 Er Pr positive her2: negative. 1/1 node with micromets & LVI positive.
She had a lumpectomy end of September with clear margins and onco score came back 16th November and said she needed chemo.
We found out today her first chemo session won’t be until 23rd December. I thought it would be much sooner than this so it’s a bit annoying but Apparantly there is a backlog at the hospital.
is this normal scheduling time (to me it seems really long) and how can we be sure the cells that maybe lurking won’t spread in this time?
Any help at this stressful time please.
Thank-you.
