Could do with a forum Trials section (I can’t find it if there is one!)

 

I’ve been accepted for the PDL-1 Inhibitor trial (MPDL320A) at Bart’s.  I think they’re only taking Triple Neg patients, and they test a sample of tumour for PDL-1 ligand too, and only about 1 in 3 testing positive for this.  It’s a very exciting trial though - great early results (although don’t think they’ve tried it on BC yet).

That’s exciting Teej, good luck and keep us posted. I’m really interested in all the immunotherapy research going on, just a bit proud as my son is involved with this research based at The Royal Free hospital in Hampstead. He is only just 25 and being funded by the Medical Research Council. Hoping his work comes to unlock more knowledge on this horrid disease.
