I have recently been diagnosed with stage 2 grade 3 invasive ductal breast cancer triple negative at age 28. I have not heard of triple negative breast cancer before and i am worried about it and how its gonna be treated.
Have they given you a treatment plan yet?
I think with TNBC they don’t have any targeted treatments, but chemo works just as effectively.
When I found out I have Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Grade 3 which is also HER2+ last month, they talked through my treatment plan. I am having chemo with targeted drugs, a double mastectomy and radio therapy (triple treatment).
I see that you also are freezing your eggs, your hormones will be up and down like mine are/ were. I’m hoping this soon fades, as it’s enough to deal with the concept of BC without other unnecessary hormones taking part.
Ring your breast cancer nurse if you have any unanswered questions. Mine has been a god send.
P.s. I’m only 25, and it’s rubbish to have to have such a hurdle before the age of 30!
