Good morning all, I got diagnosed 3 weeks ago with triple negative I have been told I will have to have chemo slightly worried. Has anyone else had triple negative and what was it like? I have had mri, ultra sounds, 4 biopsies 3 yesterday in armpit to check lymph nodes. I am 32 years old just been checked for braca gene I think it is

Please do keep off doctor google about tnbc, a lot of the info is out of date and treatments and trials are evolving all the time and your team will tailor your treatments specifically for you, please remember your team has seen it all before. Do look on here at the younger women with breast cancer and also when you know your treatment plan have a look at the threads and join them and ask away as much or as little as you need. We’re all here and Breast Cancer Now is here for you. Take it one step at a time, day by day and be kind to yourself and do it your own way

i am so sorry you are finding yourself in this “club”.
Lets hope you will not need chemo! Also if you do, pls discuss ovaries preservation(medically induced menopause is truly bad) . I also recommend a cold cap to preserve your hair- it does not work for everyone, but for some it works great and it always helps with re-growth of your hair.And the last , but not the least, do take one day at the time- some people do not do too bad with chemo, especially with all the meds these days.
