Trying to remain positive but struggling with the being in ‘limbo’ pending results

Hi @flowrs That is good news! Obviously still treatment but the worst part is over. I will wait for my results by keeping busy too. Will go back to work in a couple of weeks which we help pass the wait too. Good luck with it all. X

Morning bluesatsuma
Returning to work helped me to get some normality back but take it easy physically & mentally. As said many times on this forum be kind to yourself. Good luck with your treatment too. One step at a time :hugs:

That’s good news on the lymph nodes and that the treatment plan doesn’t change. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Don’t forget to join the monthly radiotherapy starters on the forum. Moisturising the area before prepares the skin for your treatment and then you will need to continue while on treatment and for a few weeks afterwards. I was lucky enough to win some Radiaderm R1 cooling gel & R2 lotion, which has worked really well for me.

Take care :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Hope your treatment is going well so far and you hear about your results soon. As @flowrs says be kind to your self as you return to work. Depending on who and where you work they can sometimes expect you to be working at 100% and you probably won’t be able to. Make sure you have a chat with your manager and HR, maybe even occupational health, about what you will and won’t be able to do. They might even recommend staggered return.

I haven’t been back to work since my diagnosis, I work in primary school and cover teachers when they are out of the class. I wouldn’t be able to have breaks, work part days etc, I’m would have to be 100% or not in. So I’m signed off. That works for me, I’ve just finished radiotherapy and hoping to restart my volunteering at the Foodbank as it only a few hours and it’s so much more flexible.

Take care🥰
