TUG flap or Strattice?

Hi I’m new to this site, but I wondered if anybody out there could offer some advice on either of these options? These are my two options for the immediate reconstruction after my mx. One surgeon has told me that Strattice is just the one op and another surgeon has said it involves two ops (expander first, then implant) - what are other people’s experience? I was favouring the TUG flap option because in theory it is one op (barring complications) & can give good results as it uses your own tissue, but it is also a longer op & longer recovery time. Those of you who have had an implant (with or without strattice) - how do you feel about having to have further operations later in life to replace the implant - does it bother you? Did you go for the implant option because it was a (relatively) quick op & shorter recovery time? Those of you who have had ops using your own tissue - do you have any regrets, or have you not looked back? I am really mixed up & have to make a decision on Wednesday this week (1st June) so any advice / experience you are happy to share will be most gratefully received! Many thanks.
