HI, I HAVE JUST HAD MY 12 MONTH CHECK AFTER HAVING MX , IASKED ABOUT HAVING RECONSTRUCTION DONE BUT WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT TILL NEXT 12 MONTH CHECK , HAS ANYONE ELSE BEEN TOLD THIS?
nope, mind my waiting list been big and in our area no plastic surgeons so long wait. Mine has been almost 2 years but in that timehad another op and started recon as having double recon. The only delay I know off is that there’s a period of 6 months to wait after rads. Hope you get some more answers xx

I was just wondering whether I would now be offered reconstructive surgery. I had a breast removed due to cancer but unfortunately it has spread to my bones so I don’t know if they would bother. Does anyone know what the policy is on this.

I think that you would still be offered, one of my friends on here had bone secondaries for a long time so hope all goes well for you xxx
