We have an exciting opportunity to apply to attend the UK’s premier breast cancer conference as a patient or advocate.
The UK Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Symposium, sponsored by Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now, is offering 20 bursaries covering registration for the conference, free hotel accommodation if required, and a bursary for travel.
The symposium will be held on 27–28 January 2020 at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham.
If you are successful, the bursary will cover:
- Complimentary registration for the conference
- Reasonable travel expenses for attendance at the symposium
- Accommodation at the conference hotel, the Hyatt Regency, which is linked to the conference centre
- A welcome introductory event on the afternoon of Sunday 26 January, where you will meet other breast cancer patients, and some of the speakers and organising committee members. You will learn about how breast cancer research and clinical trials work, and hear about what will be coming up over the next two days. The aim of the session is to make sure that you get the most out of the rest of the symposium.
Applications will close on Friday 18 October.
