Hi ladies

I’m currently undergoing chemo (8x FEC-T) last cycle tomorrow after having mx and ANC of right breast, I’ve found a lump in my left breast now which I had ultrasound of and dr said it was clear. However my concern is the first time I was diagnosed my ultrasound scan was clear then too but it was only diagnosed following core biopsy. However the dr didn’t do any biopsy or FNA this time, not sure if I’m being paranoid or if I should ask for biopsy or FNA of the lump to be 100% sure or trust what he said?? How common is it for a cancer to be found in other breast whilst undergoing chemo I wonder. Wondered if anyone else has experienced this??

Hi Hazey,

 

It is very rare, but I do have one friend who had just that happen to her. I should push for a biopsy to put your mind at rest.
