Hi there,
Just curious as to if anyone has experienced pain with breast cancer?
I keep getting stabbing pains under my right breast and a fizzing, almost pins and needle feeling in my nipple along with a throbbing sensation in my arm pit. I get this almost everyday and it hasn’t seemed to go away for the past 9 months. It was worse when I was on birth control. But since stopping it I’ve had continuous pain. The armpit throbbing is a new symptom I’m having so I’m quite concerned.
Doc has said not to use hormonal birth control and there are no lumps but I’ve read some lumps may be undetectable?
Sorry if I’ve rambled!
If you are worried I would go to G.P and push for further investigation at Breast Clinic. You are right that not all breast lumps can be felt some are very deep ,some are tiny. That doesnt mean you sonething sinister going on,but you certainly do have something going on.Its your body ,your health ,push for further investigation even if just to put your mind at rest. Jill.
That’s good advice from Jill. Your GP may well be right but I would definitely press for a referral to a breast clinic.
It may well be nothing but they are often putting out those ‘be clear on cancer’ and tell you to get things checked straight away, so you should be persistent.
Some tumours can’t be felt, they discovered others areas in my breast they hadn’t decided I had a lumpectomy in and I ended up having a mastectomy. Also, although it’s not often painful, it is a myth that breast cancer doesn’t cause pain.
I think it will niggle and worry you until it’s checked over, it is probably nothing but if it were me, I would go back again.
