Using Voltarol

Is it ok to use Voltarol an an arthritic knee when on cancer treatment Palbociclib and Fulvestrant

Thanks for your question.

If you have used Voltarol in the past for your arthritic knee, it is probably okay to use, although we would always suggest checking with your breast care nurse, treatment team or hospital pharmacist in case it interacts with any of the medications you are currently taking.

You could also contact your GP to prescribe some regular pain relief.

We offer a range of free supportive services for anyone who has had a diagnosis of breast cancer which you may be interested in. They include face to face and online courses and events.

You’re welcome to call our helpline if you would like to talk this through or have any further questions. The helpline team have time to listen, talk things through and signpost you to more support and information if necessary. Our helpline has access to telephone interpreters if language translation is required.
