Hi, I was diagnosed with grade 3 cancer last Thursday and have to have a vacuum biopsy this Friday as there is lots of calcification (dont really know what means). Is this painful?? My consultant says its worse than the core biopsy?? Will I be able to put a bra on after the procedure or shall I just take a vest top?? Thanks in advance, Helen x
Hi Helen, I had a vacuum biopsy a couple of weeks ago and wore my bra immediately afterwards. The test itself is not painful but the only short discomfort was the anaesthetic injection. I had very little discomfort afterwards and had a bit of bruising.
