Recently found red spots like small burst blood vessels all round nipple on op side. Diagnosed in 04 and this has just happen in last 6 weeks. Went back to hospital and registrar called in colleague to ‘have a look’ as she had never seen it before. They both decided it was caused by radiotherapy - seems odd after 3 years. Apparently there is nothing to do and its just one of the side effects I have to put up with. It doesnt feel itchy or sore, but I feel a bit unhappy about it as its happened after all this time. I’m waiting for them to phone me after they have a word with head of radiotherapy, although how he is supposed to comment without even seeing it, I dont know. Am I moaning…well a bit I guess. Anyone else had anything similar? Any comments or help appreciated. I suppose I’m a bit nervous as I had vascular invasion on my pathology report.
