Hi all
I have recently been diagnosed BRCA1 and after a lot of research have decided on which treatment I want to proceed with but I am now very confused.
All of the leaflets ect I have recieved have been aimed at ladies who have had a mastectomy because they are suffering bc whereas I am going to be having preventitive surgery.
I would like to have a double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction with a silicone implant.
Im confused because a lot of the info says that this is betterfor women with smaller breasts, now Im not huge but Im not small (34dd)
Has anyone else had preventitive surgery and this sort of reconstruction?
If anyone can advise it would be welcomed xx
I’m in the same situation, I’m confused too! I’m slim, 32d x are you having the expanders? X
