Vision problems

Hi
I’m looking for some advice. Finished 6 cycles of chemo October last year. I’m now on letrozole, zoladex and adcal. I’ve been having vision problems in my right eye, so went to have my eyes tested. I was told my left eye vision had changed a lot but everything else in the eye was nice and healthy. I’m wondering if it’s down to bc treatment or could it be something else. Has anyone experienced this. Thanks for any advice gaynor.

Hello gaynor
I’m on letrozole too and when I got the " cipra" brand …had awful blurry eyes and vision problems …once I went back to my normal brand of " accord" …I was fine again.
Maybe this will help.

Hi I’m on teva at the moment but had different brands. I’m going for a trial for contact lenses on Saturday. I’m going to speak to them about it and my GP. I sailed through chemo so find this frustrating. Thanks for taking the time to get back to me. It’s much appreciated x

Hi

I had my eyes tested last week as my long vision had got worse. The optician said that I have a slight film over my eyes which is the start of cataracts. I have not had this before and said that I felt my vision got worse when having chemo. But apparently its not the chemo as such, its the steroids that have caused it when having chemo. Hopefully my eyes won’t get worse now as the steroids were obviously only temporary.

Hope this helps x
