My friend went to see her GP on 27th July with a breast lump and he said he would refer her to North Manchester hospital, as yet she has still not been offered an appointment, they have said on the phone they are having difficulties as they are a consultant down and she can “expect to be seen sometime in September”. She is very anxious. What would be the best thing for her to do?
tell her to phone hospital every day in case of a cancellation as you say the waiting is probably the worst part and it may all be for nothing . talking to others on this site helped me no end so tell her she is not alone .best wishes
