Here I am again trying to cooperate with my stress waiting of the biopsy- i still got one drain… cryimg from time to time. I also have a pain to my arm and back - I could use some good vibes
Hi NoteRed,
It’s particularly hard when you are waiting for results following surgery, which I am presuming from your message is the case. It does become easier when you get the results and know your treatment plan, since it’s often the not knowing which worries us most. I reckon most of the women on this site would say that’s the case and have a few tears at times while waiting for results.
Regarding the pain in your arm and back, it will get better over time after the surgery however it might be worth considering visiting your GP to discuss if there is any better pain relief they can provide at this stage? Besides the usual pain relief there are some medications that can help with particular types of nerve pain.
Have they given you any idea when the drain is likely to be removed?
Sending hugs and hoping you don’t have too much longer to wait for results, and removal of the drain.
Seabreeze (4 years on and doing ok)
Hi Notered, sending hugs. I know how dfficult each stage is and sometimes you’re not sure which is worse the cancer or your own mind! I’m now almost a year post-diagnosis. I was stage 3 grade 2 locally advanced including local lymph nodes and I’m still here and doing well! It’s all pretty ugly to cope with but you get through it. I hope your biopsy results don’t take too long. Xxx
Hiyer Notered,
I hope you are crying a wee bit less ? Come back and let us know how you are getting on, its tough and we understand x
