Hi, it’s been a while since I have been on the site. I was diagnosed sept 2005. After lumpectomy and radiotherapy everything has been fine. Had routine mammogram February and just received a letter saying I need a ultrasound on wed. Spoke with my breast care nurse who said they have found 2 areas of thickening on my right breast. I know I shouldn’t but I have convinced myself it’s bad news. She also said I’ll have biopsy done. I aren’t as worried about that as I have read threads and everyone’s says they don’t hurt. Back on tue 11 for results. Just wish they’d tell you on the day.

So sorry you find yourself back here again, but you understand that it is the best place to come for reassurance. I hope the news from your ultrasound and biopsy turns out not to be as bad as you expect.

Hi, I am new to this site. Just want to wish you all the best Cathy. I have been for mammogram today, and have to wait for ultrasound as doc was called away…worried after chat with other doc that examined me…Please keep fingers crossed that this lump is benign…take care. Jane x
