I am 50 next month… no lump just bleeding nipple…I have had all of the tests and each time my consultant says inconclusive, so send me for an MRI…results showed nodules, so had 3 biopsies on Monday by the same consultant who did my ultra sound, this time he spend ages talking to me, showing me the nodules and sid there were suspicious… first time this was used… now I do not know what to think…really do not want any of my family to know in case there is nothing to tell… today I feel like I am going out of my mind… any advice gratefully received!
Hi Rubygirl
Just wanted to say hi and sorry your having a rough time.
Not knowing what is going on is very difficult have you another apointment soon? Or could you contact the doctor and say you don’t fully understand what they were saying.
It is difficult knowing who to tell and how much but you could do with some support, it does always help to talk to someone. Is there anyone you could speak to?
Wishing you all the best

Hi Rubygirl
Firstly, welcome to the forums, I hope you will find it a source of support.
It sounds like you are having a pretty rough time at the moment. As well as the information you receive from the other users you may find the helpline can offer you some support during this worrying time. If you want to give them a call to talk through your concerns the number is 0808 800 6000 and then lines are open Monday to Friday 9 to 5pm and Saturday 9 to 2pm.
Best wishes Sam, BCC Facilitator

Hi Jen,
So sorry to hear that you’ve had to join this club - its not nearly exclusive enough and I’m sure we’d all be happier if it was much harder to get in. As a relative newbie myself, I can see that the support and sharing of information continues for as long as its needed and have already been really pleased this site was recommended.
Just thought I’d say hello as a fellow rugby fan (Harlequins at national level, as well as my local team).

[edit 'cos I just noticed your name was in the last post]
