So I had my biopsy on the 14th February. Finally the results was back on the 11th March and the breast care nurse said they have taken longer than expected to come back, I was told the MDT will take place on the 13th.
I’ve still not heard a single thing, how long after your results / MDT took place did you receive the results? I can’t help but spiral at the fact if everything was ok I’d of just received a letter saying it was benign and why they would delay it!
I called breast clinic on Saturday and they said the consultant secretary would call me but still received no call.

I’m sorry about the delay in getting your results. I have had experiences at 3 hospitals now, and at 2 of them they pre booked my results appointment so that I could have my results straight after the MDT. At the 3rd hospital they didn’t book anything and I was just waiting for a phone call. That being said, I had the phone call 6 days after my scan, so it was still really quick. I’m sure others will speak from their own experiences too, but sadly I hear a lot that other people have really had to chase results by calling every day, which honestly it’s just awful - it’s already a stressful and worrying time, to then have to constantly chase is exhausting. I would keep on to your team, give them a call every couple of days and emphasise the stress and anxiety it’s causing. I really hope you hear soon 
Id ring bcn directly or consultants Secretary. Sounds like they should have some results for you by now. The waiting is awful but fingers crossed for you to receive good results xx
@rosie19 Hi, I have found this fluctuates massively depending on your local health board. I have been told 6 weeks for results post-surgery when others have had results and second surgery within 2 weeks. I had my appointment for 2 weeks after the initial biopsy appointment but then much quicker after a contrast mammogram. I phone every week to see if the results are in! Were you definitely on the last MDT list? If so your results are in otherwise they wouldn’t be discussing you. They could have posted an appointment but mail these days is awfully slow. Wishing you a positive outcome when you do get your results xx
Hi Rosie19. I’m in exactly the same situation as you. Cyst removed from my right breast which was fine but they took a biopsy from one of my lymph nodes that was bigger than the others. I’ve waited over two weeks for the results and got a letter today saying the MDT team are waiting on further results of tests. This is causing me to spiral out of control and think the worst. I can’t eat, i’m shaking from head to toe. Its good to know they are being thorough but the waiting is agony. Have you had any further results? i’ve only just joined this chat. xx
