I had a single mastectomy on the 3rd Dec for DCIS and when I went back for my results things had changed as this was much bigger and now invasive grade 2 alongside the DCIS, no spread to the lymph nodes however I was told i now need radiotherapy and to wait on my OncotypeDX score to come back for a chemo decision.
Received this last week at 27 and been told I now need chemotherapy, BCN nurse said I would have an oncology appointment through soon, i still haven’t heard anything and checked my NHS app and this was only referred yesterday! Anyone else have any experience on wait time or when I should hear anything and start treatment? I also have kidney cancer which was found during a pre op CT so I really need to be cracking on with all this so that I can be well for my kidney operation, if anyone can shed any light on these typical wait times I would be really grateful
