waiting on test results

I was supposed to go into hospital in January to have a lump removed and didn’t because i,d had the tests and they came back clear so a thought i could just forget about it back then it measured 3cm now it measures 6.5cm i was back at hospital on Thursday because i have now decided to have it removed i underwent another test and now have to go back on Friday for my test results am not really sure a want to go back but know i have to but am scared

sengas,

I understand how worried you must be about this lump. Unfortunately until you get the results on Friday there is nothing anyone can really do to help except offer you a shoulder to support you.

There is a chance that the lump may be a harmless fluid filled cyst which can be drained so try not to worry too much

Please keep in touch via this site so that you can get support from other people who have been in the same position.
Good Luck

Hi Sengas,

I know exactly how you are feeling. I just got my results on Monday so went through the whole emotional rollerocoaster last week.
I was diagnosed with BC, but there was another lady on the forum who had her results at the same time she was clear.
I was given loads of help, advice and support from the fantastic ladies on here and you will too. It really does help to talk to others who understand.
Don’t be afraid to rant, rave and ask as many questions as you need to.

We will all be thinking of you.

Keep in touch.

Hugs,
Dyzee. x
