Anyone else going to the toilet like every hour?? I’m drinking lots of water so I know I’ll go more but it’s like everyone Im going for a drink I need a wee lol!

I was exactly the same last week. Had my op Tuesday morning. I got up FIVE times during the night for a wee. Really long ones as well. Haha. I assumed it was my kidneys flushing out the drugs.
Also had the most insatiable hunger on Wednesday and Thursday. X
Ah glad I’m not the only one. It’s driving me mad as I just get comfty and need to go again lol xx
Ha ha me too. I had mastectomy on Tuesday. I assumed it was the big bag of saline they put through the drip before I went into surgery. First thing I wanted to do when in recovery was have a wee !!
Hi lizzie. I’m too still.sore. more tightening and knitting feeling in more of my armpit and the top of my breast! I had all my padding and dressing removed today and although I’m still quite swollen and bruised my scar is fab… it’s very neat and although long they said that it will fade down to nothing. I’m not quite sure what the outcome of the shape of my breast will look like but to be honest I’m not bothered! Today is the first day where I have felt proper tired mid afternoon and I’ve actually been in bed since I came back from the hospital at 2pm x glad your not feeling too bad. X
Hi. Still a bit sore and boob is decidedly more globular and swollen than the other one. Redressed my underarm scar today as the dressings are itching and my skin round there is very irritated. Have two huge spots/sores I think caused by the pressure tape they put on. Went for a walk today then had to rest! Find I can do a bit of stuff like put some washing on or have a shower and then have to rest. Still feel so tired although not muzzy headed. Hopefully going out with a friend tomorrow. I do think we need to remind ourselves that we have had surgery! My colleague, who had the same proceedure 16 years ago, was in hospital for a week!
I find if I do too much the arm complains. Interesting that your dressing has come off. I’ve got to keep mine on until next week.

Hi Lizzie I didn’t have reconstruction. I’m feeling sore too and yes quite tired. Had dressing changed today as well. My armpit feels like I’ve wet shaved but taken some skin off with it ouchy ! Also can feel nerves waking up again, Bruising is as expected but the incision scar looks so neat already.
Guess we need to keep listening to our bodies and rest when we need to.
