Hello all, does anyone have any tips on controlling weight gain whilst on Capecitabine? This is my 3rd lot of chemo, previously Fec-T followed by Paclitaxel, but this one seems to make me soooooo hungry.
Hello Rose-Red, I’m on Cap too, and I forgotten how hungry it made me during the first 2 or 3 cycles! I found that wore off later though. I can’t really help about weight fain, other than to say I have been doing the Diet Chef diet. I signed up for 8 wks, but shall not carry on after that as it’s rather expensive. I think I have lost a little and have only been doing it for about 2 wks so far. I found I can’t walk far on Cap as I get very breathless with it so exercise is out. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
