Weight Loss… Hi Girls

Just seen a few posting about the problem of weight loss, and thought that this might help.

I put on over 3 1/2 in a few months whlist I was having treatment and apart from the inactivity that you have during treatment I really didnt eat badly, no extra sweet things etc

Anyway, after Xmas this year I set myself some little targets and one of them was to lose the extra weight as just eating normal and walking didnt seem to do anything. I joined a local Rosemary Conelly class which offers a gentle salsa or exercise dance hour with it. In 5 weeks I have lost 13lbs, (can’t help thinking about Peter Kay at this moment)

It is a really easy plan to follow just low GI and low fat, Im allowed 1500 cals per day and can eat most things so long as they are below 5% fat.

From what I have heard from my oncologist a low GI diet is good for people who have had bc and the low fat must be good.

Anyway perhaps instead of trying to do this on your own perhaps
support from a group helps as we all know!
