Hi Rozita
I have liver mets but didn’t have any symptoms at all. I get an occasional ache in my liver area since chemo and starting on Tamoxifen.
Is the bloating a recent thing?

I’ve had liver mets for 2-and-a-half years and have had little or no “liver” symptoms other than vague abdominal niggles at various times during the 5 different treatments I’ve had. I think it depends where exactly the tumour(s) is/are. Hope this helps.
I have pain + twinges intermittently in liver region but no otger symptoms. I’ve heard some having jaundice, severe bloating, loss of appetite, nausea etc. But generally liver mets don’t seem to present significant symptoms except when in late stages.
Why not ask for a scan/ ultrasound if you are concerned?
Good luck x
I have had liver mets for over a year with no symptoms at all. Mine were picked up on a routine scan and over the past year when I went through all the AIs with no success, each scan showing progression in the liver - but still no pain or SEs. Fortunately I have gone back on chemo, Xeloda and that seems to be doing the job for now and the last scan showed reduction. Do ask for a scan if in doubt if only to put your mind at ease.
Hope you are worrying unnecessarily! xx
Thnx for your comments my hospital doesn’t do routine scans but I’m due my annual check up soon so will mention iv had th bloating for a few months now but my periods returned after a year had 3 or 4 then stopped for about 3 or 4 n then had a bit last month so perhaps I’m all over th place x
Maybe ask ur gp to run some blood tests to check liver function etc. I’m sure they could also arrange an ultrasound if necessary x
