On DLA you can apply for a CEA card ( Cinema Exhibitors’ Association Card), which entitles a carer accompanying you to the cinema to a free ticket. The card costs £5, I think. All the major cinema chains are signed-up to the scheme. Details in link below.

Alisonm started a very good thread some time back on the secondaries forum that went on for pages.

Most of it obviously is more appropriate to those with secondaries. It isn’t so easy to get dla with primary bc.
She did ask if the moderators could turn it into a ‘sticky’ so that it wouldn’t disappear out of sight! So mods how about it?
