Hi , i have now finished my treatment , chemo lumpectomy and radiotherapy, just wondered what scans/ mammograms etc people have afterwards to check on the situation.
I am back to work next tues after 9 months off, feeling a bit nervous, will be going back 3 days to start with ( i am a mental health nurse)

I am a year after DX …all i had was a physical xam …wont get the rest until 2 years to say that I am not reassured is an understatement ! wont have mammo any way due to mast and recon .and my cancer wasnt detaected on a mammo last year any how .Suppose doc knows waht he is doing ?

I am 10 months post dx - had WLE and rads now on tamoxifen. I saw my surgeon for a check-up in August where I had the usual physical examination - he will see me again in Feb and at that point will arrange for ‘mammo etc’, I presume the ‘etc’ is ultrasound.
Hello Ladies,
Had mastectomy last November followed by chemo and radiotherapy, currently taking Arimidex. Have not got a clue what happens next. Saw my Oncologist on 1st August for examination, seeing him again on 31st October. No idea when I have a mammogram. To reassure me I had hoped for one this October, as this is when I had my last one when I was diagnosed. If I hear nothing I will ring my breast cancer clinic and ask when I am due for one. Got a funny feeling if I don’t ring them, they won’t ring me!
