what does 'slightly spiculated' mean?

I had a mammogram last week and the report says I have a ‘slightly spiculated’ 2cm tumour which is ‘almost certainly malignant’. Nobody (the mammography clinic or my GP)has given me the slightest indication so far that it might be benign, so I’m not in a good place at the moment. I’ve got my first visit to the breast unit coming up this Saturday. I googled ‘spiculated’ and saw that this is usually bad news - but I am wondering if ‘slightly’ spiculated might mean slightly less chance of BC? Or does ‘spiculated’ mean it is definitely BC?

spiculated is like it sounds … spiky… my was a spiculate tumour and ddi indeed look like a spidery thing. your message ahsn’t appeared yet so i amy have pre guessed the q wrong - best wishes tho for whatever!!!
