This section has been created in respond to requests from forum members (see here: breastcancercare.org.uk/forum/pregnancy-and-breast-cancer-t27224.html).
It is for people to discuss issues relating to being diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant, or in the year after giving birth.
There are lots of other issues relating to pregnancy, fertility, children etc, but it would be helpful if this section could stay focused on being diagnosed while pregnant or in the year after giving birth, as we have identified this as a specific need on the forum.
Here are some ideas of subjects people might want to discuss:
- chemotherapy during pregnancy
- what sort of delivery will you have?
- breastfeeding
- termination
- coping with a newborn and treatment
- future fertility
- supporting other women in similar situations
This list is not exhaustive, but should give some ideas.
