I’ve been trying to look into pension options and I cant understand them. I have been trying to find out the implications of applying for early retirement from a previous employer versus transferring to another scheme and then trying to apply to access it. I need to sort out my fiances for now. I’m stage 4, so I’m unlikely to live to the normal retirement age. My pension wont give me much annula income even if I am allowed to have it early. Has anyone had experience of exploring this? Does anyone know about annuities or drawing down?
do you know what of pension it is? personal or stakeholder plan? or an occupational (trust based) scheme?
