When did you all start feeling the chemo?Hour's or days later?

<Empty imported post>

Hi Debs,

It depended on the type of chemo for me. With the FEC treatment I would start feeling a little “hungover” a few hours after the drugs were administered. With Docetaxol however, it would take 2-3 days before I started to feel the effects. I’m sure everyone is different though and other people will probably have different experiences to me!

Hope that helps :slight_smile:

Take care, K x

I didn’t start to feel the affects until day 6 after treatment. That’s was the day I’d finished all my steroids and started the filgastrim injections. Extremely tired, sometimes wanted to just collapse and not move. Constipation, haemmorhoids, really nasty. But thankfully I was never nauseous or sick. These effects lasted about 5-6 days and then I began to feel more normal again.
