When do you get scans for possible mets? I’ve got an odd throb in one leg at night and achy joints and am struggling at the gym but nothing bad enough for pain killers. Had breast cancer twice, the second being a grade three triple negative six years ago. My GP always sends me private and I’m so fed up with it I just cancelled my insurance. Don’t want to bother public or cost them a bone scan when if it is anything it is likely early and may not show up anyway. Nothing in blood tests last year. Am due to see someone in public in September. Shall I just wait till then? Any suggestions on trigger points as this is a tricky area.

It’s entirely up to you how you deal with this, but I personally wouldn’t worry about postponing dealing with your concerns for the sake of the public purse.
Do what you feel you need to do to get this resolved.
