I have looked into life insurance, Some companies will insure me but would have to take out a small mortgage to pay for it.

I would be very interested to see if anyone else has had better luck than me.

I had a cold call a while back, trying to sell me life insurance,as soon as I told them about my bc they couldn’t get of the phone quick enough.I have since used this tactic to get rid of other cold callers as I hate them. You see there are some advantages of having bc.

Virgin Hi ladies

My sister has tried to get CI cover through Virgin and was turned down due to family history - but then said try again in 12 months???!! I am currently having chemo, my Aunty on my dads side has bc, my mom died following bc at 40 and her mom also had it but recovered.

My sister is really down-hearted because of this and I feel really bad for her. I spoke to an IFA who tried some insurance companies for Life Cover for me but I got turned down.

If anyone has any positive stories can they please let us know!!

Have replied to someone else on forum, but thought you might be interested in case you didn’t see it. My friend found it difficult to get life insurance too. She was declined by a couple of companies. I know that she eventually did get good cover from a broker who seem to specialise in this because I helped her with the research on the internet. They may be able to help. They do things the other way round in that they take all the medical information and ring round insurance companies to find the best quote. They were www.theinsurancehelpline.co.uk and very helpful.
