Hello, I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, grade 3 triple negative + 2 pathological lymph nodes breast cancer on the 19/2/25.
HER2 result came back on 12/3/25. I have been told by Oncology that my first appointment to discuss will be another 3-4 weeks. I’m concerned that the cancer will be spreading to other organs. How fast does it spread and where can it go?
Thank you.

Hi - I was diagnosed with grade 3 triple negative bc last year. Like you, I was terrified it would spread but the surgeon assured me that it wouldn’t spread in that time. It feels like ages to us but it’s a short time in the world of cancer. I hope your treatment goes well x
Thank you for taking the time to reply. That sounds very reassuring, and I know there are lots of women in the same boat, but at the moment it feels like it’s just me. Thanks again and I hope you are doing ok
